Is someone who, is immensely passionate about the industry, takes his job extremely seriously and is very understanding to his clients. Rick was raised on a farm, went to the college of Agriculture. Operated his own farm operation for many years, while working in the crop insurance industry as a secondary income. Rick started his career in crop insurance in February 1986 as an agent/adjuster with Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corp. In May of 1994, an opportunity found Rick on a new journey from Saskatchewan Crop Insurance to a career in the private crop hail insurance industry as a claims adjuster, and marketing representative, with The Hartford crop hail insurance company. At the same time he also worked in the General Insurance industry with Prestige Insurance Brokers as an insurance broker finding the best value products for clients. In March of 2002 Rick moved on to Rain and Hail Insurance Ltd. as a marketing representative and hail adjuster. Then he accepted an opportunity as a claims manager and commercial risk advisor for Butler Byers Insurance when it presented itself in January 2010. With a 5 company merger in December 2016 Rick became the Senior Director, Business Development & Adjuster Services for Palliser Insurance. With his highly recognized client relationships was promoted to the V.P. Direct sales & Service in April 2020. Then finally WCRA, the opportunity to independently represent farmers and provide expertise and peace of mind in their greatest time of need. During his 35 plus year career, Rick has represented companies, agents and farmers across western Canada in finding reasonable solutions to purchase products, resolve disputes and preserve relationships.
